For serious and more demanding tree trimming, you'll need a bigger, better tool like a chainsaw or a handsaw. These tools make it easier and safer to handle major pruning projects that smaller tools can't work on.
A handsaw will help trim mid-sized branches that can easily go down because the sawing is done by hand. For larger tree branches, it is best if you used a chainsaw, which will save you a lot of time and energy.
Stepladders and Ladders
Trimming trees can become even more challenging if the branches you intend to bring down are high up on the tree. For mid-high range branches that you can't easily reach while standing on the ground, a stepladder can be the best tool to use for easy access.
If you're seeking to prune branches that are high into the tree, you'll need a taller ladder like an orchard ladder for easier access into the branches. These orchard ladders have tripod stands which make them much safer than typical ladders.
